4. Service Access

TripOS is completely free to use. All features are available to all registered users at no cost. We reserve the right to introduce fair-use limits to prevent abuse.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by TripOS and protected by intellectual property laws. Generated itineraries are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service, including comments and trip preferences. By submitting content, you grant TripOS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Data Handling

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We use third-party APIs (including Google Places, OpenWeather, Mapbox, and others) to provide travel data. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or completeness of third-party data.

7. AI-Generated Content

Itineraries and recommendations generated by TripOS are created using artificial intelligence and real-time data sources. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or be outdated
• Opening hours, prices, availability, and other details may change without notice
• You should independently verify critical information before making travel decisions
• TripOS is a planning aid, not a substitute for your own judgment

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any delays, delivery failures, or other damage resulting from the transfer of data over communications networks, including the internet.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIPOS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any inaccuracies in AI-generated itineraries or recommendations
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any travel decisions made based on information provided by the Service

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
