Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and TripOS (“TripOS”, “we”) governing your use of the TripOS platform, apps, and APIs (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you use TripOS on behalf of a business, you represent that you can bind that business, and “you” includes it.
2. The service
TripOS generates day-by-day travel itineraries from a brief, grounded in third-party venue, weather, event, and routing data, and provides tools to edit, share, and deliver them — including team workspaces, client management, white-label deliverables, and a partner API.
Itineraries are planning aids, not guarantees. Venue hours, prices, availability, and conditions come from third-party sources and change without notice. Verify anything critical (visas, medical needs, safety, bookings) before relying on it.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use most of the Service. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put the Service at risk.
4. Workspaces, roles, and your clients
- A workspace (organization) is controlled by its owners and admins. They manage members, roles, branding, billing, and data in that workspace, including removing members.
- Content created in a workspace — trips, templates, client records, deliverables — belongs to that workspace, not to the individual member who created it.
- If you store your clients’ personal information in TripOS, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for honoring their privacy rights. We process that data on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.
5. Plans, trials, and billing
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, in USD. Agency plans are billed per seat; adding seats mid-cycle is prorated by Stripe, and reducing seats takes effect per Stripe proration rules.
- New workspaces receive a 14-day trial of Agency features without a payment method. When the trial ends without a subscription, the workspace drops to free-tier limits; your data is retained.
- You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
6. Usage limits and fair use
Plans include monthly itinerary-generation quotas and rate limits, as published on the pricing page. We enforce them in the Service. Circumventing limits, reselling access outside a workspace’s seats, or abusive automated use is not permitted.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights using the Service;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass its security, tenancy boundaries, or metering;
- upload malicious code or content you have no right to use;
- misrepresent generated itineraries as guarantees of availability or safety;
- scrape or bulk-export data belonging to other tenants.
8. Your content and our IP
You keep all rights to the content you create in TripOS. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service — to store, process, display, and deliver your content to the people you share it with. Publishing to the public community is optional and controlled by you. The TripOS software, brand, and design are ours; no rights are granted except as needed to use the Service. Feedback may be used without obligation.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party providers (payments, maps, venue and event data, weather, email, hosting, and model inference). Their availability and accuracy are outside our control. Booking links may lead to third-party sites whose terms apply to your purchases; some links may be affiliate links.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that itineraries are accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is capped at the amounts you paid us for the Service in that period (or USD 100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach that remains uncured 14 days after notice, or immediately for serious abuse. Sections that by nature survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, disputes) survive.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days’ notice by email or in-product. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India. Questions: legal@tripos.dev.
